The Recreation Authority of Roseville & Eastpointe has long been known for helping children progress in their understanding of soccer fundamentals. The Recreation Authority continues this commitment through its 2016-17 youth soccer program. The program is designed for children of all abilities, to help them learn the fundamentals of the game and burn off that youthful energy.
Soccer is one of America’s most popular youth sports because it is fun and easy to learn.
START SMART SOCCER
Start Smart Soccer is a fun program for children 3-5 years of age. Children will learn a variety of soccer skills including dribbling, kicking, passing, throw-ins and agility. This instructional program is a good way to prepare your child for the Under 6 Soccer League. Click here to learn more
U-6 ACADEMY SOCCER PROGRAM
Boys and girls will learn the game of soccer through fun games and exciting drills. Practices are Tuesday & Thursday 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. . Games are played on Saturday Mornings 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. All games and practices are held at Bethlehem Lutheran Field (Common & Gratiot, next to the City Hall) The Program Director, John Mellon ia a USSF Nationally Licensed coach.
